OUR FOUNDERS
Ubunjalo Bokuba was founded by Dr. Morongwe Makena, also known as Makhulu, and Busisiwe Mokwena, also known as Bumo.
Together, they bring extensive experience in ancestral healing, indigenous lineage science, practitioner development, and teaching. Their work has been dedicated to preserving African Indigenous science while developing practical approaches to lineage restoration, practitioner education, and community restoration.
Drawing from years of practice, mentorship, and teaching, they established the Institute to create a professional home for Lineage Healing Science, one that equips future Lineage Healers, advances research, and contributes to the preservation and continuity of African Indigenous Science for future generations.
